Apple, the tech giant headquartered in Cupertino, California, has recently unveiled the next generation iterations of its flagship device – the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, during its annual event in San Francisco. The upgraded iPhone, which was described as “aesthetically similar to the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus”, has several big differences and new specifications.
The improvements on this version include no headphone jack, a pressure-sensitive home button, better camera, a faster processor and improved battery life, in addition to being of a new range of colours and a starting size of 32GB.
Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, has proudly announced that “iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus dramatically improve every aspect of the iPhone experience, reaching a new level of innovation and precision to make this the best iPhone we have ever made”.
Announced at www.apple.com, “iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will be available in silver, gold, rose gold and the new black finish in 32GB, 128GB and 256GB models starting at $649 (US), while the new jet black finish will be offered exclusively on the 128GB and 256GB models from apple.com, Apple Stores, Apple Authorized Resellers and select carriers”.
