Dubai, Bangkok, Tokyo and New York are among the collection of images outlined in bright orange, blue, green and white lights, those images were taken by Captain Jon Bowles, 55 year old, from Bolton, UK.
Incredible aerial shots show mega cities of the world illuminated like an electric grid by a British airline pilot who has travelled the equivalent of ten round trips to the moon.
Taken from the flight deck, the stunning photos show some of the most recognizable places in the world from above.
Jon said that there is no danger involved in taking the shots, because he only shoot at times of low workload, or from the jump seat.
Take a look at the images:
Photography is the science, art and practice of creating durable images by recording light or other electromagnetic radiation, either electronically by means of an image sensor, or chemically by means of a light sensitive material such as photographic film.
Photography is employed in many fields of science, manufacturing and business, as well as its more direct uses for art, film and video production, recreational purposes, hobby, and mass communication.
