The 61-year-old is well known for his theatrical shows where he usually leads a large orchestra from his piano in tremendous fashion. Famous for blending jazz, classical, soft rock and world music together to create instrumental works of art, Yanni’s special music genre may not have hit the commercial big time, but he has, for decades, received international recognition by creating and producing stunning concerts at historic landmarks around the world.

Despite previous concerts in other emirates, including a historic show in 2011 at Dubai in front of the iconic Burj Khalifa with fireworks and choreographed fountain display, and most recently at Sharjah’s Al Majaz Amphitheatre in November, the performance will mark Yanni’s first concert in Abu Dhabi.
