Mohammad Bin Rashid calls to celebrate national 'UAE Flag Day' on November 3

His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Friday in a tweet called on all communities and government bodies to mark UAE Flag Day on November 3 by a unified flag raising campaign at 11:00am.

Sheikh Mohammed said, “The UAE flag is not a drawn flag, or a coloured piece of cloth. It is a beating heart in our chests, to which we are willing to sacrifice with our blood, souls and children.”

Sheikh Mohammed tweeted, “Brothers and sisters, we celebrate with you, on November 3, the Flag Day. The UAE flag is the symbol of our pride and the banner of our glory. It is the flag of our union, unity and sacrifices.”

His Highness added, “We call upon all our institutions, ministries, schools and government bodies to lift the flag on Thursday 11 am at the same time one. We want to see it on our houses, farms and on all our facilities. We want to see it high in the sky, like our ambitions, dear like our souls, waving high on all corners of our country.”
