Spanning an area of 61,000 square meters, The Heritage Village was developed to bring the heritage of The United Arab Emirates to life and shed light on cultural and folklore lifestyle of the old days.
Administered by the Emirates Heritage Club, Abu Dhabi Heritage village is a great haven that includes all aspects of traditional Bedouin life of the United Arab Emirates, such as traditional camp stoves fire, old coffee buckets, tents made of goat hair, and the Aflaj irrigation system, giving us an exciting glimpse of the emirate’s past.
Moreover, there are workshops where craftsmen demonstrate traditional skills, such as metal work and pottery, welcoming visitors to try their own skills and experience the traditional practice.
Let’s not forget the tiny spices shop, as it offers a variety of dried herbs and handmade soap.
