Naif Museum: authenticity of heritage
This edifice was used as a castle that was considered both prison and a police station in the past. This museum gives you the opportunity to explore the ancient castle of Dubai Police history, in addition to the judicial system in the city. This castle was built in 1939 from mud, and it includes real sized models and interactive exhibits that you will really enjoy.
Heritage House: meet the traditions
In one of the oldest urban sites in Dubai, Heritage House was established by Mr. Matar Saeed bin Mzeinah in 1890.
It introduces you to the local traditional house of UAE, in which was prepared to adapt with the main daily issues of the hot dusty weather in the area.
Heritage House is of two floors, and it was built of stone reef, gypsum, teak, along with palm fronds and trunks.
Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum House: an architectural icon
Standing tall in Shindagha area, Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum House is considered an architectural monument that attracts everyone by its rich details.
At the time of its construction in 1896, it was considered the most modern architectural house in the Gulf area
Horse Museum : bond relation
Horse museum was built in the forties of the 19th century, in the Shindagha area. It was owned by the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, and is located near the Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum House.
As its name says, the Horse Museum has horse sculptures, and it introduces you to strong old relationship between the UAE citizens and horses.
