From the highest skyscraper and first artificial mountain, to largest shopping centers and most luxurious hotels, Dubai surely has its position in the Guinness World Records Book. Here we introduce you to the most expensive drink in Dubai, and in the world: The 27.321 Cocktail.
The figure actually represents both its name and its price. Being served at Skyview Bar at the 27th floor of the 321-floor landmark, the Burj Al Arab Hotel, this cocktail got its name and price to be 27.321.
What makes this cocktail so special is that it is made of Macallan 55 year old single malt, exclusively produced dried fruit bitters, homemade passion fruit sugar, and then topped off with ice cubes made of water from the Macallan distillery in Scotland, along with an oak stirrer made from a Macallan Cask. The cocktail is presented in a Baccarat 18-karat gold glass, which the buyer gets to take home.
The 27.321 has been created to be served only 10 times, since its creation in 2009 and it has already been served 10 times, so, it’s no more available or served. It was featured in the Guinness Book of World Records 2009.
