The largest origami mosaic was achieved in an event organized by Dubai Properties at Jumeirah Beach Residence, Dubai, on 14 April 2016. This origami mosaic measured 1,090.98 m².

The heaviest bag of rice weighting 557 kg (1,227 lb 15.61 oz), was achieved KRBL Limited (India) and displayed in Gulf Food Exhibition at Dubai World Trade Center, in Dubai, on 22 February 2016.

The huge amount of rice was donated for charity after the event.

This record was achieved by Ministry of Interior of Abu Dhabi in the capital of UAE at Baniyas stadium on 13 March 2016. The largest gathering of people wearing helmets was recorded to 3,929 students of the police academy who created a formation with UAE flag colors.

 

Tallest Residential Building

With 413.4m (1,356 ft) high and 101 stories above ground,  the Princess Tower in Dubai set a world record as the tallest residential building in 2012.

The previous record holder for the tallest residential building, 23 Marina, was also in the United Arab Emirates, and stood at 392.8 m height (1,289 ft).

It worth noting that the previous record holder for the tallest residential building was the 23 Marina which stood to 392.8 m (1,289 ft), and also in the United Arab Emirates.

Longest Handmade Gold Chain

Known as the ‘Dubai Celebration Chain’, this 22 carat gold record-breaking treasure was created to celebrate the Dubai Shopping Festival’s (DSF) 20th anniversary and was made by the Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group (DGJG) in association with the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE).

It measured an impressive 5 kilometers long, and weighed no less than 240 kilograms.  It has over 4 million links, and took 100 craftsmen over 45 days to produce.

Breaking the previous record of the world’s longest painting achieved by Southern Wuhu Weixing Real Estate Development Co. Ltd. (China) in September, Al Tayer Group (UAE) partnered up with the non-profit organization “Dubai Autism Centre” to organize a record-breaking campaign in 2015, which aimed at raising awareness about autism with an artwork measured about 10,850 m (35,597 ft 1.32 in).

Around 20,000 students aged from 2-18 were invited from all over the UAE to participate in the good cause campaign and help create the Longest painting ever made.

The largest synchronized car dance was created in Dubai, on 24 July 2015, and formed an animated peace sign, and was achieved by PEPSICO, IMPACT BBDO, SWERVE ENTERTAINMENT AND INSA (all UAE).
