It is undoubtedly the “Yas Waterworld” in Abu Dhabi, which has launched a summer season offering filed with special shows, games and entertainment for all ages.
Kicking off the celebrations with the approaching Eid Al Fitr holiday, the Emirati-themed waterpark is hosting family-friendly activities during weekends throughout the summer months and ending with the Eid Al Adha holidays.
This summer, children visiting the waterpark will encounter characters from “Iftah Ya Simsim”, the popular Arabic version of Sesame Street. The summer offering continues with live music from DJs, along with interactive games for the entire family to take part in such as ping pong, a limbo competition and “minute to win it” timed contests.
Yas Waterland adds a distinct touch of Emirati culture, by featuring traditional Arabic drummers during the Eid holidays, adding another touch of Emirati culture to the festivities.
Families can now avail of a new family pass available throughout the summer. This pass allows families of four or more to visit Yas Waterworld for Dh180 per person, while nannies and children under three years old can enter for free.
