Arab-German Business Forum has launched its 19th session in Berlin, two days ago, with wide participation of decision-makers, government representatives and businessmen of Arab countries and the Republic of Germany.
HE Eng. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy of UAE pointed out that UAE is considered the largest trading partner of Germany in the Arab region, where Germany comes the sixth largest trading partner of the UAE, clarifying that UAE acquires 25% of the total trade volume between Arab countries and Germany, with 52 billion euros in 2015.
The UAE delegation to the Arab-German Business Forum was headed by HE Eng. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, and Abdullah Al Saleh, undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy Trade and Industry, along with a large number of participants and representatives of the local government and private sector.
During his opening speech at the forum, Al Mansouri said that he economic and business Arabic-German relations are historical and driven by natural potential and industrial capacity that both sides have.
He said that the volume of trade and economic relations between the UAE and Germany is witnessing sustained growth, as the foreign non-oil trade between the two countries recorded about $ 15.5 billion during 2015, with arising growth of 3% compared with 2014. He also urged investors and businessmen from Germany to increase their investments in the Arab region and in the UAE.
