Amna Al Fardh: A World Record Holder Passionate Emirati

Amna Al Fardh, a talented Emirati woman who has this passion to paper and quilling. Although she used to have a good job, she decided to quit and devote her time and effort to paper quilling.

With this unique passion and great talent, Al Fardh has proven herself and became a member in the three major groups:
Japan Quilling Guild, The Guild, UK Based group and the North American Quilling Guild of which she is the regional representative of in the UAE & the Middle East.

In 2013, Al Fardh was able to set a Guinness World Record under the label: largest display of handmade paper dolls. She spent more than two years creating 1145 beautifully looking, different, little dolls to deserve the title.

Currently Amna Al Fardh is attempting to establish the first Arab Paper Quilling Guild in the region. She is also working on working on writing & publishing the first book on paper quilling in Arabic language.

Al Fardh is now operating “Mannayah”, an innovative local project that aims to enhance lifestyle through practicing arts & crafts with workshops designed for different age groups. Participating in Mannayah will grant you the opportunity to learn about Quilling, Paper punches, and Rubber Stamping.
